It is a privilege to welcome distinguished scholars, industry leaders, policymakers, and international partners to the 17th International Conference on Management Research (ICMR 2026).

At Chaudhry Abdul Rehman Business School, we are committed to advancing a model of education that integrates research, innovation, and real-world impact. ICMR is one of our flagship initiatives that embodies this commitment by creating a platform where knowledge is not only generated but also applied to address contemporary economic and managerial challenges.

The theme of this year’s conference, Tourism-Led Economic Transformation: Policy, Innovation, and Destination Management, reflects an important global priority. It invites us to explore how emerging research, policy frameworks, and industry practices can collectively contribute to sustainable economic development, particularly within the context of regional and international collaboration.

ICMR 2026 builds upon the success of previous editions and takes a significant step forward by strengthening the integration of academic research with policy dialogue and industry engagement. The inclusion of structured B2B interactions, trade forums, and policy discussions ensures that the conference goes beyond theoretical contributions and creates opportunities for tangible outcomes.

As a business school with a strong focus on entrepreneurship and global engagement, CARBS aims to position ICMR as a recognized international platform for collaboration. This initiative also supports the development of our faculty and researchers by providing exposure to global academic standards, diverse perspectives, and emerging research trends.

We are grateful to our partners, including COMSTECH and collaborating international institutions, for their support and engagement. Their contribution plays a vital role in expanding the reach and impact of this conference.

I encourage all participants to actively contribute to discussions, share their insights, and build meaningful connections that can lead to long-term academic, professional, and institutional collaborations.

I look forward to a highly productive and impactful ICMR 2026.

At Superior University, we believe that higher education must go beyond the boundaries of classrooms and contribute meaningfully to global knowledge, economic development, and societal progress. The International Conference on Management Research is a reflection of this vision—serving as a platform that connects academia, industry, and policy to address real-world challenges.

The theme of this year’s conference, Tourism-Led Economic Transformation: Policy, Innovation, and Destination Management, is both timely and significant. In an increasingly interconnected world, tourism is not only a driver of economic growth but also a catalyst for innovation, cultural exchange, and international collaboration. Through this conference, we aim to explore how research, policy, and industry can collectively contribute to sustainable and inclusive economic transformation.

ICMR 2026 is designed as more than a traditional academic gathering. By integrating research presentations, policy dialogue, and trade engagement, it provides a unique opportunity to generate impactful ideas, foster meaningful partnerships, and create pathways for collaboration across borders. The inclusion of B2B engagements and policy discussions reflects our commitment to translating academic insights into practical and economic outcomes.

As we continue to expand our global footprint, initiatives such as ICMR play a vital role in strengthening Superior University’s position as a hub of international collaboration and innovation. We are proud to bring together scholars, industry leaders, and policymakers from diverse backgrounds to engage in dialogue that is both intellectually enriching and strategically relevant.

I would like to acknowledge the efforts of our academic leadership, organizing teams, and international partners, including COMSTECH and collaborating institutions, for their commitment to making this conference a success.

I invite all participants to actively engage, share knowledge, and build lasting partnerships that extend beyond the conference. Together, we can contribute to shaping a future where research and collaboration drive meaningful global impact.

I wish you all a productive and enriching experience at ICMR 2026.
